In 1985 Christine's book was published, telling her story.

Until December 1976, Christine Piff's life centred largely around her husband, Chris, and their three children, Claire, Matthew and Dominic.  Born in Stone, Staffordshire, she trained as a nursery nurse before her marriage in 1962, and after her own children had gone to school, she began to work at a local play school.  But with the discovery that a soreness in her cheek was in fact a malignant tumour, the pattern of her life changed radically.
